The lights have been switched off again, but there's beauty in the 'bleugh'. I can't stop looking at birds on the wire - I have one too many photographs of lines of rooks and clusters of starlings. And a winter tree looks great just 'doing itself so well' - as pictured so adroitly by singer Laura Veirs in a song she called 'Rapture'.
